and education systems, the privatization of care and services, the housing crisis, hunger, homelessness reflect the deleterious effects of economic and social rights violations in Quebec and in Canada. This situation increases our society\u2019s vulnerability to crises, as we have seen with the Covid-19 pandemic and as we will experience more and more with the climate crisis. It testifies the failure of the dominant human rights paradigm to ensure the protection of economic and social rights, which results in a deficit of accountability of our governments and in a denial of justice for the people who suffer from the effects of these violations. The purpose of this partnership is to promote economic and social rights as a legal response to exclusion and unequal social relations in human rights
