COMRADES and the Commission des droits de la personne et de la jeunesse (CDPDJ) are collaborating to produce a summary of the positions developed by the CDPDJ on economic and social rights protected by the Quebec Charter<\/em>. <\/em>The research will lead to a publication which will be available with open access on the CDPDJ and COMRADES website for public decision-makers, professors, researchers and students, lawyers, judges and civil society. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Several knowledge mobilization activities are planned with the Ligue des droits et libert\u00e9s (LDL), as a central actor in the defense and promotion of economic and social rights within civil society in Quebec. These activities will focus in particular on the right to health, systemic racism, strengthening the capacities of civil society to contribute strategically to procedures for implementing economic and social rights, as well as on the taxation of social issues.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

COMRADES and the Protecteur du citoyen (PDC) are collaborating to produce a summary of the PDC\u2019s special reports in order to highlight the PDC\u2019s contribution to the protection of economic and social rights. The research will lead to the publication of a report and the production of an analysis grid of economic and social rights relevant to the evaluation of State action. Researches are co-directed by the committee on the right to education of HDAA students of the LDL-section de Quebec, co-researchers from COMRADES as well as the International Clinique internationale de d\u00e9fense des droits humains (CIDDHU) of UQAM in order to produce knowledge on this under documented subject and to enable the development of advocacy based on the right to education.
