en lumi\u00e8re des in\u00e9galit\u00e9s sociales de sant\u00e9 fort choquantes. Elle a aussi jet\u00e9 un \u00e9clairage assez brutal sur les faiblesses d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 qualifi\u00e9 \u00e0 juste titre d\u2019hospitalo-centriste et sur les limites d\u2019une approche trop souvent centr\u00e9e sur la responsabilit\u00e9 individuelle et les traitements curatifs.<\/p>\n<p>Examiner ce qu\u2019est le droit \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 \u00e0 titre de droit humain commande une tout autre approche de la sant\u00e9. Celle-ci y est d\u00e9finie non pas comme une absence de maladie, mais plut\u00f4t comme un \u00e9tat complet de bien-\u00eatre physique, mental et social.<\/p>\n<p>Cette d\u00e9finition de la sant\u00e9 impose \u00e0 l\u2019\u00c9tat l\u2019adoption d\u2019un ensemble de politiques gouvernementales visant \u00e0 assurer la r\u00e9alisation de tous les aspects du droit \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 ainsi que de tous les autres droits.<\/p>\n<p>Organisation vou\u00e9e \u00e0 la d\u00e9fense des droits humains, c\u2019est sous cet angle que la Ligue des droits et libert\u00e9s (LDL) examine, dans le cadre de ce webinaire, quelques-unes des composantes de notre r\u00e9gime de sant\u00e9 et de services sociaux soulevant divers enjeux ayant trait \u00e0 la r\u00e9alisation du droit \u00e0 la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>S\u2019appuyant sur les composantes essentielles du droit \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 tel que le propose le Comit\u00e9 sur les droits \u00e9conomiques sociaux et culturels de l\u2019ONU, la LDL souhaite ainsi partager une grille d&#8217;analyse qui lui semble fort pertinente dans le contexte o\u00f9 le gouvernement qu\u00e9b\u00e9cois s\u2019engage dans une \u00abrefondation de notre syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9\u00bb.
